Hello backers. It’s Ash with KityCrylics! Hopefully by now folks are starting to receive their pins, and hopefully you all are pleased with them!
All things considered, I do really think the pins look amazing. I hope you’ll find them worth the long wait.
I’ve ran into a few hurtles throughout the last week or so that I’ve managed to handle, the big thing being my label printer decided to finally bite the dust. The new one has arrived and is all set up to go!
• Where I Am At With Fulfillment •
With the help of Red Bull and old DOS game lets plays, I’ve managed to get about 70% of orders labeled and shipped. I’m hoping to have the last few batches finished and handled as soon as I am back from Akaicon this upcoming weekend!

• Refunds? • I’ve done my best to include a note with all ITA bag orders that offered store credit on my website in compensation for the items that were not able to be produced by Luna. To be absolutely transparent with everyone, this is something I am offering willingly and I was not asked to do this by Luna. The goal in mind is to offer help by centralizing the debt accrued and keeping it in one place, and for lack of better way of putting it, I’d rather those affected by this campaign be able to move on and move forward, while I tether this big boat to myself and help Luna to get herself out of debt. This is my effort to spread kindness, and compassion, and I am tackling this willingly at my own financial expense (which is hopefully temporary!). With that being said.. If store credit from my website is something you may be interested in, please reach out to me via Instagram DM (@kitycrylics). Otherwise, as previous updates stated, the final refunds are pending while funds are being raised to go towards the final debt accrued.
Absolutely nobody is obligated to forgive a creator who messes up on this scale. I can only say thank you for giving myself a chance to help on some level to fix this.

Sorry for such a quick follow-up, Backers. I promise I am not trying to annoy you guys!
As the previous updated stated, one of the boxes of pins I received seemed to have busted open in transit to me, and to my horror a chunk of pins were missing from the box. Now that I have had time to evaluate the stock, get some orders handled and familiarize myself with all of the designs from this campaign, I now know the following pin designs that have gone MIA.
- Classic Doctor
- Syringe (PINK)
- Syringe (PURPLE)
- Scythe (PURPLE)
There is still a chance more than that fell from the box, such as additional quantities of certain designs, however I am not 100% certain and so far everything seems to be here aside from the above designs which definitely are not here (cry).
I know this is frustrating, and my heart sank when I saw the box missing product because I knew this would mean I had to add additional stress and frustration to backers and the creator. So, let's problem solve together for a solution!
What can be done?
If you are a backer affected by the missing designs, I will be messaging you individually to offer an exchange of a different design from the campaign (if stock is available). However, I will need to finish packing and processing the remaining orders NOT affected so I can get a final number count on what is all available. There's a couple designs I know for sure we have plenty available of, but some are only maybe 1-5 pieces, so I do not want to goof up with overselling a design, especially with me not knowing if any other pins went missing from the box ( I don't think they did, but worse case scenario planning is kind of my 'schtick').
If there is absolutely no other designs in the campaign of interest for a swap-out, my last resolution is to offer a pin of similar value in my own store. Worse case scenario part 2: we add those missing items to refund list.
So in short, if you know you had backed for any of the above designs (you can check your backerkit survey), please anticipate a follow-up from me. If you want to throw me your alternative selection choices here, I will take note and process accordingly.
Hell or high water, this is gonna get done! I will be in contact ideally by the middle or end of this week (assuming no other hiccups along the way).

Hello Backers. It's Ash again with another update. If you missed the previous update, PLEASE check it before continuing. I am NOT the creator of this campaign, and am merely helping with fulfillment of the pins of this campaign.
6/7 of the boxes for this campaign have arrived to me today.
The good news is almost everything looks to be accounted for, aside from an unfortunate transit dismay.
One of the boxes was taped with 'received in damaged condition' and upon opening the box, it looks like two or so packs of pins are missing from it. I am doing what I can to get a final count on all of the designs (there's a lot... like a lot lot) and figure out which pins are missing. My hope is that it's 2 packs of the freebie "Stay away from me" pins (will update once I know for certain which pins are missing from the box busting during transit). While this is unfortunate because I would therefore be short on the freebie pins, it would at least mean none of the purchased designs would be affected. I will proceed as normal until another wrench comes into my path. I am not sure what is in the 7th box that is still in transit to me, or if it will even arrive to me in one piece.. I'm very nervous to say the least, but am going to keep my head up and push through with fulfillment.
Ita bags, Washi Tape, and Stickers are not being fulfilled.
This is because the creator was not able to produce them due to financial miscalculations, from my understanding. Please bare kindness towards me, as I am unaware of most of the situation with this campaign, and am merely just trying to help fulfill the PINS which makes up for about 70% of the campaign. I cannot answer questions of "When will we be getting our refunds?" as all I am of the understanding is that the funds are gone. I understand how frustrating this is, and I promise I am doing all that I am able to on my own end to try to make this work for everyone, and to find some sort of resolution so folks can get their money back, or get something for their pledge in the campaign.
This next part is really complicated, and I am doing my best to navigate it fairly without upsetting backers.
To help the creator with fulfillment costs, I will be selling some of the pins on my website or instagram to help her offset the debts and afford the shipping to ship out customer orders. This is the first idea I have in helping her to pay the debts owed for shipping fees and to get folks orders out in a timely manner. So please know if you see me selling any of these pins, it's ONLY to pool funds together to afford shipping fees, and hopefully refunds if the amount gathered allows. I will be covering what I can out of pocket until then, however.
Some of you backed the Monster Addicts campaign, and I am planning on fulfilling that campaign as well once those pins arrive to me. Please stay tuned, as it will be much of a similar situation as this one.
I am shipping to addresses on backerkit. Folks were prompted to update their addresses this past weekend. I will do my best to double check things along the way, so please feel free to contact me to ensure your address is correct and up to date. Once a package leaves my hands, I cannot stop the transit process and I will not be able to refund or replenish a lost package.
Phew. Okay, sorry for the mouthful! I'm off to get these pins counted, separated, and begin the packing process. Thank you for your patience with me, and thank you for your understanding, despite how absolutely frustrating this whole campaign has been.

Hello Backers!
This is Ash, and I run KityCrylics. Some of you may already be familiar with me, but for those who are not: I'm a small business owner with over 16+ years of experiencing handling online sales, and more importantly I have experience with crowdfunding campaigns and have helped others previously with fulfillment of their campaigns.
I have reached out to Luna to offer my services with their Kickstarter campaign, and am updating you all here to give you an update on the situation.
I will be handling the fulfillment of the Pins portion of this campaign. Once I receive the pins (hopefully no later than July 11th), I will get right to work on processing and shipping rewards.
This campaign uses Backerkit, so the first step for me is going to be to lock in addresses, and begin to get the show on the road per say.
I kindly ask for patience on my end while I sift through messages, make any notable changes to orders, or answer questions.
All I will be handling is the fulfillment of rewards, I will not be responding to or able to acknowledge any messages demanding a refund. Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform, not a store. If rewards can be fulfilled, they will be. If they cannot be, then a refund is the following route that Luna will have to make.
If you have moved and need to update your address PLEASE do so immediately. I will be locking in addresses soon, so please please check your surveys if needed to make any adjustments via Backerkit.
