Hey friends my manu sent me pictures of the sample of the plague mask bag. I asked them to add a black border around the eyes, but other than that, the sample is done. I didn’t realize how big it was gonna be!
Hello loves! There isn’t much to update on, but there have been delays.
When I created this Kickstarter, I had no idea that the Plague Babes would be so popular so I assumed I would be unlocking a few goals, but we unlocked 17 enamel pins, 2 Ita bags, 2 washi tape designs and a wooden pin!
I’ve been talking with Ita bag manu and there have been delays with my sample of the plague bag. She did quote me 3 months for the production of both bags. Back in October, they got flooded with bulk orders from other artists. They also have Chinese New Year coming up which I wasn’t aware of. Which CNY is about a month long celebration. Most workers have already left for holiday and was told there is only one worker right now. I was also told that things are starting to shut down again due to another surge of Covid cases.
However, my Ita bag manu did send me a presample of my bag and is finishing the sample of the plague bag now.
I did take 2 weeks off for holiday (Christmas, New Year and my birthday) and wanted to start fresh for the new year. I’ll be sending the pins to my manu this weekend. As soon as I start to get the pins and washi tape in, I’ll be sure to update that it’s at least on the way to me! 😊
The new estimated delivery date will be April/May at the earliest. If there are more delays with production or things happen to get shut down, I will make sure to update.

I will be ordering the plague mask ita bag sample which will take about a month. After I receive and approve the sample to assure the quality, I will be ordering the bags.
